Recently, I needed my carpet repaired due to damage caused from pets digging holes in it.  Since I did not know of a carpet guy, I turned to Craigslist to find someone.  I called Brian Brom and told him I would like to have it done in the next day or so because of holiday events at our home.  Brian responded immediately, and offered to come out on a Saturday to accomodate my tight schedule.  He did a beautiful job of patching the holes with carpet from a closet in our home, and even brought remnant pieces (near perfect match) to fill in where the carpet was removed from the closet.  Now that the carpet has been cleaned, you cannot even tell where he patched.  He estimated a price over the phone, and did not charge over his estimate.  The bottom line is, Brian was extremely professional, reasonably priced, efficient, and did a beautiful job repairing our carpet.  I would hire him again in a minute, and I highly recommend him to anyone who needs carpet work done.
